  The Wisconsin wolf plan has come under fire recently for its questionable ethics and the undue influence of anti-wolf hunters. We have concerns about the plan and its lack of transparency, science and public participation, all of which are vital for building trust and ensuring that decisions regarding wildlife conservation are inclusive and well-informed.

  Yesterday, the Wisconsin DNR announced the final draft of the agency’s Wolf Management Plan. We will be cautiously optimistic as the plan moves forward for approval by the NRB and hope that the plan will continue to be critically reviewed and updated as we learn more about wolves in Wisconsin.
