I understand you’re scared and exhausted—I’m scared too, but feeling hopeless is not a choice. Here at Great Lakes Wildlife Alliance, our work lets you recharge and rest. I will never give up, ever.
The same forces behind the wolf hunt have tried to suppress votes. They work hand-in-glove with big oil, gas, and paper to destroy our natural heritage. These people who hate wolves are extremists. But we, the normal people, stand together for fairness and democracy. They’re coming for the wolves, and they’re coming now, as part of Project 2025.
We won’t have any action back unless we do something right now. Please, please, help. A donation to us is also a donation to democracy. Give now, and make a difference.

But here’s the thing: when we howl we win.
In 2021, there was a highly controversial wolf hunt in Wisconsin that sparked widespread outrage. The hunt, marked by allegations of cruelty, resulted in significant wolf bloodshed. Hunters, using dogs, exceeded the quota set by the state, causing deep concern among conservationists and animal rights activists. Many felt helpless as they watched their government manage natural resources in a way that many considered irresponsible. The Great Lakes Wildlife Alliance stepped up, ending the hunt through relentless advocacy and legal action. Even during the hardest, saddest, and most repulsive times, the Alliance refused to give up. Experiencing the wolf hunt ignited a resilience within us that’s rising again to protect our natural heritage.

The victory in our lawsuit brought overwhelming joy and renewed hope. It was a pivotal moment that demonstrated our collective power to stop cruelty and death. Our small but mighty organization stood up against seemingly insurmountable odds. We even took on the influential Koch brothers. We emerged victorious. This triumph proves that with unwavering determination and support, we can face the giants and win. Let’s continue to fight for what we believe in and protect our precious wildlife. Together, we can turn hopelessness into hope, exhaustion into rest, and hate into love.
