I just got off the phone with Lions Clubs International. Their clubs will no longer take part in wildlife killing contests. Nationwide.
It started here in Wisconsin, when the Marshall Lions Club put the Lions emblem on a killing contest fundraiser. We took it up the chain: district governors, then all the way to international headquarters. And it wasn’t just Marshall. We found Lions clubs tied to these contests from Marshall and Leona, Wisconsin to Abilene, Texas to Spokane, Washington.
Lions International was shocked these contests even exist. They told us cruelty and violence are not who they are. They have an entire service area dedicated to the environment.
That’s what happens when someone shows up with the receipts.
The fight isn’t over
Lions is one organization. Killing contests are still legal in Wisconsin, and coyotes, foxes, and bobcats are still being piled up for prizes. We’re pushing the Natural Resources Board to ban them outright.
Help us celebrate this win with a $25 donation to end wildlife killing contests for good.
We’re 100% volunteer. No corporate money. No government money. Just you.

Thank you for all your efforts to save our wildlife, especially wolves. You are making a difference in our lives.
Melissa, you are a magnificent human being. Always speaking for those who have no voice (at least in this world).
