July is Wild About Wildlife Month, and Great Lakes Wildlife Alliance is marking the occasion by renewing our commitment give people first hand up close knowledge of Wildlife
As part of our commitment to wildlife education, we’re proud to promote Minocqua Winter Park on this hands-on, community-driven speaker series. Together, we bring science, storytelling, and deep connection to the creatures that need us most.
Walk on the Wild Side: Summer Wildlife Series
Whether you’re here for the science, the storytelling, or just a reason to get outside, Minocqua Winter Park’s free speaker events have something for everyone. Hosted inside the Chalet (7543 Squirrel Hill Road) with optional strolls up the Squirrel Hill Tower Overlook (weather permitting), each hour-long talk blends deep ecology, cultural insight, and hands-on curiosities. No boots or expertise required—come curious, leave a little wilder.
