Trumpism reflects a troubling belief in white supremacy, suggesting that even the least qualified white man is more deserving than qualified women or people of color. This mindset is deeply rooted in American history, where the government has consistently favored the success of white citizens at the expense of others. The elevation of the lowest white man over more deserving individuals is a persistent systemic bias. Despite Trump’s failures, his supporters view him as a counter to previous leadership, driven by these ingrained beliefs.
The notion of wildlife management promoted by Republicans and Donald Trump has largely been a campaign ploy aimed at appeasing Trump’s supporters. Their approach reveals a superficial understanding of environmental issues, focused more on image than on genuine investment in wildlife conservation. This rhetoric is designed to energize their base using buzzwords like “heritage,” “decimate,” “killing family pets,” and “harvest,” while failing to engage meaningfully with the complexities of wildlife management.
Furthermore, the Trump administration’s grasp of nature is shallow, characterized by fear-mongering that lacks a willingness to explore the deeper issues at hand. Should the newly elected president and his cabinet falter in delivering on their promises, they risk betraying their supporters once more, exposing their incompetence. However, such failures willo contiue, as the emotional investment in destroying and killing wildlife often overshadows rationality.
Moreover, Trump and figures like J.D. Vance have resorted to shocking rhetoric, including references to eating dogs and cats, to maintain a sense of supremacy as their support wanes. Kristi Noem has infamously boasted about shooting her dog and a ghost, while Donald Trump Jr. has used hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to hunt endangered species, undermining the Endangered Species Act. These actions have contributed to the revival of puppy mills, dog fighting, and horse slaughter, all while reversing USDA standards for farm animals. This reflects a disturbing trend that prioritizes personal gain over animal welfare and environmental protection.
For individuals like Trump Jr. and Joe Rogan, trophy hunting serves to reinforce identities within a cultural context that values masculinity and dominance. This mentality often overlooks the broader implications of their actions, including the endangerment of species and the degradation of ecosystems. Their pursuits reflect a worldview that prioritizes human interests—particularly those of white men—over ethical considerations for the environment and animal welfare.
tHE intertwining of white supremacy with a sense of entitlement over nature is evident in the actions of individuals like Donald Trump Jr. and Joe Rogan. Trophy hunting, in particular, is viewed by some as a display of power, where killing exotic animals becomes a status symbol. This perspective prioritizes personal enjoyment over the vital need for environmental conservation, illustrating a disregard for the ecological consequences of such actions.
In light of this, Donald Trump Jr. has faced significant scrutiny for his trophy hunting practices, particularly as they involve the killing of endangered species. Reports indicate that he has used considerable taxpayer funds for these pursuits, raising ethical concerns about the appropriateness of using public resources for personal enjoyment. This situation becomes even more alarming with the possibility of Trump Jr. being appointed as Secretary of the Department of the Interior—an influential position that would enable him to implement policies that could severely harm wildlife populations, including initiatives aimed at culling wolves.
The implications of Trump Jr.’s leadership in this capacity are deeply concerning for conservationists. His trophy hunting activities exemplify a troubling trend of prioritizing personal desires over the urgent need for effective conservation measures. Critics argue that this behavior reflects a dangerous prioritization of individual interests over the crucial responsibility of protecting our natural heritage. The potential consequences of his appointment could be catastrophic, jeopardizing both endangered species and the broader goals of wildlife conservation across the country.
Additionally, Trump Jr. serves as president of Hunter Nation, an organization that advocates for hunters’ rights. Recently, Hunter Nation made headlines by filing a lawsuit concerning a controversial wolf hunt in Wisconsin, which aimed to increase the state’s population control measures. This legal action has sparked significant debate about the ethics of hunting practices and wildlife management.
As we consider the implications of Trump Jr.’s leadership at Hunter Nation, his history with trophy hunting raises concerns about biased policies that favor hunting interests over wildlife conservation. Critics argue that his involvement in such an organization could further exacerbate the already tenuous relationship between wildlife protection and hunting advocacy.

his is not just a legal battle; it’s a fight for the future of our natural world. The possibility of Trump Jr. becoming Secretary of the Department of the Interior is alarming, as it could lead to policies prioritizing hunting over conservation. We need your help to raise $50,000 for litigation to combat these threats.
In a second Trump administration, the public must compel Congress to act as a co-equal branch of government, not a lapdog to the executive branch. We must hold Congress accountable to do its job—keeping the pressure on through calls, lobbying, and grassroots visits, reminding them they work for us.
As we stand at a terrifying crossroads, the stakes for our wildlife and ecosystems are higher than ever. The rise of trophy hunting, driven by figures like Donald Trump Jr. and organizations such as Hunter Nation, threatens to unleash cruelty that could decimate endangered species. Their recent lawsuit regarding the wolf hunt in Wisconsin underscores the urgent need for action.
As we move forward, organizations like Hunter Nation and others have spent the last four years plotting their return and revenge. They will be more organized, deliberate, and aggressive. But our first resistance will look tame by comparison. The destruction of the Endangered Species Act and other fundamentally anti-American policies will undoubtedly be met with the full force of our allies, the GLWA, and committed advocates.

Despair and Resignation are not an option right now.
We need you with us to keep fighting—donate today. The GLWA has the battle-tested playbook to defend wolves, wildlife, and our rights and liberties. Despair and resignation have no place now as we face the prospect of a second Trump administration. The threats to our democracy and freedoms are neither abstract nor hyperbolic. We must take seriously the plans laid out by Trump and Vance for 2025, including using military force to crush protests, dismantling the Endangered Species Act, and promoting bloodsport hunting.Every moment we hesitate risks the survival of vital species. This is a call to action for everyone who cares about our planet. We must raise our voices and resources against those who exploit and harm our wildlife. Together, we can forge a united front to protect our WILDLIFE. Please give and then contintue reading the action plan below.
WE NEED YOU TO GIVE $47 TODAY TO START THE PLAN TO STOP THIS NEW ADMINSTRATION BY January 20th 2025
I can’t wait to see all of you on Thursday! Remember to prioritize self-care, embrace your feelings, and practice resilience. We have so much to fight for, and together, we can make a difference!
